David

Athol,
a former technologist turned sales and marketing executive
and consultant, has always appreciated the power of market
research - particularly when it actually provides hard data
and names and addresses for immediate sales and marketing
campaigns. He has travelled the world extensively, including
a number of trips to Japan when he was a marketing manager
for a division of Sony.
He
is a popular sales and marketing lecturer for U.C. Extension
in Silicon Valley, a senior advisor to the U.S.
Market Access Center (formerly the International
Business Incubator), and the president of Brighter
Naming (Silicon Valley's independent professional
naming agency). Many also know him as The
